Sandro Frank, Executive Director

I started my professional career as an electrician in an SME. I quickly discovered my passion for industry. As an industrial electrician, I was able to gain experience in the field of new development, expansion, troubleshooting and maintenance of technical systems of all kinds. I underpinned my practical experience with theoretical knowledge and successfully completed my training as an electrical engineer HF. Afterwards I could use and build up my knowledge for several years as a project manager in industrial and building automation projects. I would be happy to share my know-how with you and support you in your project.

Heating / Cooling / Heat recovery

Optimization of the energy balance

A large cable manufacturer decided to use the waste heat from the production facilities for the building heating. For this purpose, the entire recooling plant was rebuilt. The heat generation now extends over several buildings with their own heating systems and heat pumps, which now cover the heat load in a network.

Media preparation

Supply of process media

The media required for the production of medicines (tempered water, compressed air, steam, acids and bases, and fuel) were treated and fed into the manufacturing process. The wastewater resulting from production was neutralized and passed on to the cantonal wastewater treatment plant.

Ventilation / Air conditioning

Air conditioning for productions & offices

Air conditioning in production plants have to meet different criteria, usually they have pressure cascades and precise temperature control. In many cases, office spaces are also connected to improve comfort for employees.

Safety / Special plants

Fire detection and containment

Various tunnels for road traffic were equipped with fire detection and direct forwarding of alarms.

In case of a fire in a production building, the precise procedure is central. Thanks to the built-in control system the fire department has an overview of the effects of possible shutdowns on zones, ventilation systems or machines. The smoke extraction of escape routes can be switched on selectively.
